Born and raised in the Midwest, I first visited Kodiak for the summer right after my high school graduation, returning many times until I permanently moved to Kodiak in 2017.

I primarily paint from photos taken during my adventures around Kodiak. However, I do enjoy en plein air painting when the mood and weather strike. I use oil and acrylic paints, working in a loose style to capture my experiences and love of Kodiak.
