Original contemporary Alaska painting of Common Loons floating on a lake on Kodiak Island.
Loons have a very special place in many hearts. One of my good friends lives on a lake where there are almost always a pair of Common Loons. This painting came from a paddle where the these two let me paddle quite close and just drift with them in the sun for a bit.
Part of the Taking Flight Collection.
