Original contemporary Alaska painting of a Semipalmated Plover perched on a log on Buskin Beach on Kodiak Island.

This Semipalmated Plover hopped around the beach where I was sitting for a good 20 minutes - we were both curious about each other. This pose created a lovely angle that followed the log and contrasted the grass' angles.
