Trumpeter Swans frequent Kodiak Island, yet I usually only see a handful a year if I’m lucky. These New Year’s blessings let me enjoy them for quite a while before taking flight. I loved emphasizing the contrasting angles of the swans' wings with the horizontal water and horizon lines.
